Douron, Inc. and its family of companies – Douron, Office Images, Office Furniture Loft and Office Furniture Teks – have joined forces with The Supply Room (TSRC, Inc.), effective April 1, 2023. From its beginnings in 1969, Douron and its affiliates have built a premier position in the office furnishings industry, serving three states and the District of Columbia with a focus on customer relationships. The Supply Room has grown to be the second-largest independent office furniture and supplies dealer in the nation and the largest in Virginia, since its founding in 1951.
Yancey Jones, Jr., Chief Operating Officer of The Supply Room stated, “We’re thrilled to be adding the Douron companies to our family and look forward to supporting their growth in the Mid-Atlantic for many years to come.”
In the office furnishings and supplies industry, which has seen much consolidation of companies, this joining of organizations will bolster the market positions of both Douron and The Supply Room. The addition of the Douron brands to The Supply Room will result in an organization boasting more than 500 employees, 17 locations and more than 500,000 square feet of office, showroom and warehouse/distribution space throughout six states and the District of Columbia. This will create one of the largest family-owned operations in the industry.
No changes in personnel or roles are envisioned as a result of this new arrangement. Douron clients will continue to be served by the team members they’ve come to know and trust over the years.
